Description
Christmas Eve, 2021, it was clear that our going to our local Parish for Christmas Mass would not be possible because of the pandemic. We had watched the Christmas Mass at the Vatican the year before and huddled again around my computer to view again. When the beautiful Mass was done, I saw the Pope move toward the infant representing "Jesus" in a small life size cradle made of wood and burlap. I felt I had captured the expression of wonderment and joy our Lord must have felt when he greeted his new world for the first time.
I have added a border in gold and white which are the colors used during the Christmas and Easter season, symbolizing the "Birth" of Jesus Christ.
