Description
The Two Original Oil Paintings shown in this listing are sold but Prints live on for others to enjoy. My old Greek door, “Revelation”, was digitally opened by the Artist and the door color has been changed to enhance the other painting in this print shown “inside the view.” The Original Oil Painting was painted in a teal green hue, as shown in the beginning of “The Open Door Collection.” In this Fine Art Print, the open door has been paired with another print, “The Face of Santorini.” The name of these two prints is “Sunday in Santorini.” If a "Cross" or Church is in the inside view, it may have "Sunday" in its paired name. Minor adjustments may be made to accommodate the perspective when merging both paintings (prints), and these are digital adjustments only. The entire original painting/print is to the side for you to see along with their individual stories and those can be acquired as well. Some elements are seen in more than one of these “open door” prints, like the patio wall, sky, and flooring. The door of the original, “Revelation” was closed because it refers to a the a Bible verse by the same book name, 3:20. I turned the door in, to invite the viewer to see more. Maybe you see a print that you would like paired with, "Revelation.”
The doors in the “The Open Doors Collection” are available in many print sizes up to 6 feet in height and printed on many different substrates (what they are printed on, like Paper, Canvas, Metal and more), are available here. Imagine this on a wall where no real door or window can be installed.
I am a “realist” painter, not a photo-realistic painter. I regard myself as a self-imposed “Representational Realist.” “I only represent, reality, God makes everything, perfectly real.” “Painting for me is much like writing is to an author, once the Paint is put to the Canvas many more than one, can enjoy viewing the Original and finding a Print.”

If you are choosing paper, for wall art and it is to be framed under glass I recommend what I print on, Watercolor Paper. I also print on Canvas, with the same, clear, results. The other surfaces, like Metal and Acrylic make great choices for areas with high moisture like kitchens and baths too. Hanging any Art in direct sunlight is not recommended.
