Description

"Taking a Bow in Santorini", is a painting of a boat and its bow with some smaller volcanic islands behind near Santorini Greece. The volcanic islands are naturally grey to black. Over the centuries the sand from the sea washed ashore and created pristine beaches. I enjoy painting the crystal-clear water as it approaches the shore. I am always inspired to create a feeling of calm and sense of stillness and serenity when I paint boats. How does "Santorini Bow" speak to you?

If you are choosing paper, for wall art and it is to be framed under glass I recommend what I print on, Watercolor Paper. I also print on Canvas, with the same, clear, results. The other surfaces, like Metal and Acrylic make great choices for areas with high moisture like kitchens and baths too. Hanging any Art in direct sunlight is not recommended.
